The ruling on a woman wearing trousers.

The Shaykh : And among the types of clothing are trousers. Trousers are further problematic in that they are men's clothing. If a woman wears them, she becomes like a man in wearing trousers. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the women who imitate men. What is a woman's need for wearing trousers? What is the need? Is she a mechanic who works with machines? Does she want to play sports so that she wears this clothing? But Satan, may Allah be protected from him, makes the evil deeds of the children of Adam attractive to them. And what do we know? Perhaps our enemies who have flooded us with trials will one day come to our women with light, thin, tight trousers, the color of skin. If a woman wears them, she will be as if what? As if she is completely naked, because our enemies know that flooding us with these trials necessitates that we turn away from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. And they are clever; they do not come to the Muslims face to face, but from below so that they rise up and deceive us with these clothes and drown us in them until we fall into their traps. We ask Allah to protect us from their evil and the evil of those like them.
