How to reconcile the statement of Allah the Exalted: "Or, who has made the earth a stable ground" with the established fact of the earth's rotation?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A questioner says, O honorable Shaykh, how do we reconcile the statement of Allah the Exalted:
Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground أمن جعل الأرض قرارا
[An-Naml 27:61]
with the established fact of the earth's rotation?

The Shaykh : This proves that it rotates
Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground أمن جعل الأرض قرارا
[An-Naml 27:61]
, meaning it is stable, and he says, and with the established fact of the earth's rotation. I demand evidence from the questioner for the establishment of that. Where is the questioner? There is nothing. Yes, please go ahead?

The questioner : It is established with us; we learned it in our schools...

The Shaykh : Scientifically, have you touched it with your hand? Well, have you perceived it with your eye?

The questioner : The night and the day and the four seasons.

The Shaykh : It is possible that the night and the day and the four seasons are due to the rotation of the sun, the sun revolving around the earth like this, and the night and day and seasons occur because the sun deviates, for space is vast and has no end; it deviates from the earth, so cold occurs, and when it approaches the earth, heat occurs.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Yes, the tides, yes, that is correct, it may be evidence, but this evidence may be discussed. In any case, they say that it is scientifically established, as the brother said, that the earth rotates, you know. And perhaps they argue from the Qur'an, because Allah says:
He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you ألقى في الأرض رواسي أن تميد بكم
[An-Nahl 16:15]
. And "mīdān" (shaking) is more specific than movement in general. And if there were no movement, He would have said, "He cast into the earth mountains so that they would not move you." So when He negated "mīdān," which is shaking, it indicated the establishment of the principle of movement. Yes, and we do not know how this movement is, except after this science appeared now, and it is, according to some, a certain matter from what they have witnessed in the launches of satellites and from what they have witnessed in targeting, the target of missiles from distant places. They said, if not for this, they would not have been able to determine that. In any case, it is not for us to engage with their speech, but if it is established that the earth rotates, then that does not contradict His statement:
Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground أمن جعل الأرض قرارا
[An-Naml 27:61]
, because it is possible that it is a stable ground while it rotates, and its indication of the power of Allah the Exalted, with its rotation and its stability in this steadiness, is more eloquent. I mean, how does it rotate with this rapid rotation, and yet the people are stable upon it? This indicates the greatness of Allah the Exalted and that He is capable of all things. Personally, I am unable to deny it or affirm it; I am unable to deny it or affirm it, and it does not become clear to me in the Qur'an what affirms it or denies it. And we leave this to the matter that determines it from the sensory, realistic aspect. And if it is established by sense with no doubt that it rotates, then there is nothing in the Qur'an that contradicts that.
