How many are the nullifiers of wudu' according to the stronger opinion?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His EminenceThe Shaykh : Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and Allah's mercy and blessings.

The questioner : Know, O Shaykh, that I love you for the sake of Allah.
Second: How many are the nullifiers of wudu' according to the stronger opinion? May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : May Allah love him who loves us for His sake, and make me, you, and him among the close friends of Allah.
As for the nullifiers of wudu': they are what comes out from the two private parts, sleep, and if you wish, say the loss of reason or its covering. The third is the flesh of camels. This is the preferred opinion. There are other matters in which there is scholarly disagreement among the scholars, such as touching the private part. We have mentioned that the correct view is that if one touches it for the sake of desire, his wudu' is nullified; otherwise, it is not. However, it is recommended to renew it. As for touching a woman, even for the sake of desire, it is not a nullifier. Likewise, what comes out from other than the two private parts is not a nullifier, even if it is much. As for death, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the one who died:
Wash him with water and suds. اغسلوه بماء وسدر
And he said regarding his daughter concerning the women who wash her:
Start from the right side beginning with those parts which are washed in ablution. ابدأن بميامنها ومواضع الوضوء منها
Sahih al-Bukhari 167
This is not explicit that death is a nullifier of wudu'; rather, it is explicit that it is obligatory to wash the entire body of the deceased, but one should begin with the places of wudu' on him. As for apostasy, it invalidates all deeds. So if a person apostatizes and then Allah guides him and he returns to Islam, he must take a full ritual bath, either as a recommendation or as an obligation. As for washing the deceased, there is no authentic text that obligates wudu' for it, but if the one who washes the deceased performs wudu', it is more complete.
