How should one deal with those who abandon prayer entirely?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Please, go ahead.

The questioner : Shaykh, the issue of those who abandon prayer entirely.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Do the rulings of apostates apply to them, such as hatred, loyalty and disavowal, and so on?

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Rulings like these.

The Shaykh : Yes, the one who abandons prayer entirely must be hated and disliked. If he dies, it is not permissible for us to say, "O Allah, have mercy on him." It is not permissible to bury him with the Muslims, nor to wash him, nor to shroud him. We take him out in a vehicle outside the town, dig a hole for him that is not a grave, and throw him in it with his clothes, because this person is a disbeliever, and not an original disbeliever, because an original disbeliever has some rights. This person has no right, and it is not permissible for him to remain in this world for the blink of an eye. Do you understand? He has no sanctity, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be gathered with Pharaoh, Haman, Qarun, and Abu Jahl, the heads of disbelief, may Allah protect us from that. Yes.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : No, there is no second question.

The questioner : The issue of associations, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : No, my brother, there is nothing. May Allah reward you with good. Beware of oppression, for oppression is darkness on the Day of Resurrection...
