How does a Muslim reconcile the encouragement and warning found in the Book and the Sunnah when hearing that standing before Allah will last fifty thousand years?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O esteemed Shaykh (may Allah preserve you), when a believer hears what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has prepared for the believers in Paradise, the soul looks forward to this matter. But O Shaykh, when he hears about the standing of people on the Day of Resurrection before Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and their standing for fifty thousand years, he is delayed in this matter and wishes he would not meet that day. How does he reconcile this with that?

The Shaykh : Yes, he reconciles it by saying to him that this long day and its terrors are easy for the believer, because Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said:
And it will be upon the disbelievers a difficult Day. وكان يوما على الكافرين عسيرا
[Al-Furqan 25:26]
meaning that it is easy for the believers. This is the meaning of the verse. Also, Allah the Exalted said:
The disbelievers say, "This is a day of hardship." يقول الكافرون هذا يوم عسر
and the believers say that this is easy. So, for the believer, it is like performing one of the obligatory prayers; it is very easy. As for the disbeliever, it is difficult. Yes.
