The state of the believer between fear and hope regarding what is with Allah

When the believer hears what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has prepared for the believers in Paradise, the soul looks forward to this matter. But, O Shaykh, when he hears about the standing of people on the Day of Resurrection before Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and the standing of fifty thousand years, he delays in this matter and wishes he would not meet that day. How does one combine this with that?

We combine them by saying to him: This long day and the terrors within it are easy for the believer;Because Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said: [Al-Furqan: 26] Its meaning is that it is easy for the believers; this is the understanding of the verse,Likewise, Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Qamar: 8] And the believers say: This is easy. So, for the believer, it is like performing one of the obligatory prayers; it is very easy. As for the disbeliever, it is difficult.
