Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Ma'arij:4] Do the believers stand for this duration? And what is the state of the believer on the Day of Resurrection?
Answer:
Yes, this is the duration of the Day of Resurrection. Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said: [Al-Ma'arij:4-10] the verse.
This is the Day of Resurrection, but Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) will give the believers rest before half of the day has passed. [Al-Furqan:24] Before the middle of the day arrives, the people of Paradise will have gone to Paradise, and the people of the Fire will have gone to the Fire. We ask Allah for safety.
Allah the Exalted said:
during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.
فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍAnswer:
Yes, this is the duration of the Day of Resurrection. Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) said:
(4) The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years. (5) So be patient with gracious patience. (6) Indeed, they see it [as] distant, (7) But We see it [as] near. (8) On the Day the sky will be like murky oil, (9) And the mountains will be like wool, (10) And no friend will ask [anything of] a friend,
تَعْرُجُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ فَاصْبِرْ صَبْرًا جَمِيلًا إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيدًا وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيبًا يَوْمَ تَكُونُ السَّمَاءُ كَالْمُهْلِ وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ وَلَا يَسْأَلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمًاThis is the Day of Resurrection, but Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) will give the believers rest before half of the day has passed.
The companions of Paradise, that Day, are [in] a better settlement and better resting place.
أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلًا
