A man who did not perform the sacrifice for his daughters until they married: what is his obligation now?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : O esteemedThe Shaykh : A man says he has ten daughters and did not perform the sacrifice for them, and they are now married. What is the obligation of their father, and what is the ruling on the sacrifice? Is it true that a newborn does not intercede for his parents if the sacrifice is not performed on his behalf?

The Shaykh : The sacrifice is a confirmed recommended practice: two for a male and one for a female. If one limits it to one for a male, there is no blame on him. It is a recommended practice for the father. If the time for the sacrifice comes and he is poor, he owes nothing, based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
So fear Allah as much as you are able فاتقوا الله ما استطعتم
[At-Taghabun 64:16]
If he is wealthy, the obligation remains with the father, and neither the mother nor the children owe anything of it.
