What is the interpretation of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "and ten nights"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh. Allah the Exalted said:
and ten nights وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ
Is the intended meaning the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah or the last ten nights of Ramadan?

The Shaykh : By Allah, there is disagreement among the scholars on this. Some said: It is the ten nights of Ramadan, because He said:
and ten nights وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ
And some said: It is the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):
There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than those ten days. ما من أيام العمل الصالح فيهن أحب إلى الله من هذه الأيام العشر
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 757Sahih (Darussalam)
meaning the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
They said: “O Messenger of Allah! Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah?” He said: “Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah, unless a man goes out with himself and his wealth and does not bring anything back.” قالوا : ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله ؟ قال : ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله إلا رجل خرج بنفسه وماله فلم يرجع من ذلك بشيء
Sunan Ibn Majah 1727Sahih (Darussalam)
If someone were to say: This includes both, there is no harm; they are all ten excellent days. But the ten nights of Ramadan are better in their nights, and the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are better in their days. Yes.
