A man prayed 'Isha, then went to another mosque and found the imam in the third rak'ah. Is he obligated to complete the prayer, or does he say the taslim with the imam?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh. If I prayed the obligatory prayer in a mosque, for example the 'Isha prayer, and then went out to another mosque for a need and found them praying, and they were in the third rak'ah, is it prescribed for me to join them?
And when the prayer ends, do I make up what is owed to me, or not?

The Shaykh : This person is asking: If I prayed in my mosque, then came to another mosque and they are praying the 'Isha prayer, and I joined them in the third rak'ah, then when the imam says the taslim, do I say the taslim because I have prayed two rak'ahs, or do I complete it and pray four as the imam prayed?
One looks at this: If a person came to the second mosque for a need that he might miss if he completed the prayer, let him intend two rak'ahs from the beginning and say the taslim with the imam. For example, a person came to pray over a funeral in another mosque, and he missed two rak'ahs of the 'Asr prayer. Do we say: Join them in the remaining two rak'ahs, then make up the two missed rak'ahs? Or do we say: Say the taslim?
In which of the two cases does he catch the funeral prayer? When he says the taslim, or when he makes up the missed rak'ahs?
If he says the taslim, then we say: Say the taslim. But from the beginning, intend that you are entering to pray only two rak'ahs.
