Who are the Shi'ah? Are they the Rafidah? And what is their school of jurisprudence?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Noble Shaykh, who are the Shi'ah, and are they the Rafidah? What are their doctrines in life, and how do we distinguish between them?

The Shaykh : The Rafidah are the Shi'ah, but the term Shi'ah is broader than Rafidah, because "Shi'ah" is applied to everyone who honors the Ahl al-Bayt (the Prophet's household) more than is required of them.
As for the Rafidah, they are those who followed the rejection of Zayd ibn 'Ali ibn al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) when they came to him and asked about Abu Bakr and 'Umar. He spoke well of them, saying: "They were the two ministers of my grandfather." They rejected him because the Rafidah, out of their ignorance, believe that whoever praises Abu Bakr and 'Umar has spoken ill of 'Ali, and whoever loves Abu Bakr and 'Umar hates 'Ali. This is due to their ignorance. 'Ali ibn Abi Talib himself (may Allah be pleased with him) recognized the truth for its rightful owners, so he would say openly:
the best of this ummah after its Prophet? [It is] Abu Bakr, then ʻUmar. خير هذه الأمة بعد نبيها أبو بكر ثم عمر
Musnad Ahmad 933Lts isnad is Sahih like the hadeeth above] (Darussalam)
He said this openly.
But some of the Rafidah say: "The worst of this Ummah are Abu Bakr and 'Umar." We ask Allah for safety. They claim to be the awliya (close friends of Allah) of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib and the Ahl al-Bayt, but 'Ali ibn Abi Talib and the Ahl al-Bayt are innocent of their way. This is especially so because some of these Rafidah claim that among their Imams, whom they say are our Imams, there is one who is in a rank that no angel brought near and no messenger sent can attain. That is, their Imams are better than the prophets and better than the angels.
In fact, some of them say: "The Imams are those who manage the universe, and they exclude Allah (Mighty and Majestic) from managing the universe." We ask Allah for safety. This is major shirk (associating partners with Allah) that takes one out of the religion. Whoever claims that there is a manager of the universe other than its Creator (Mighty and Majestic) is a disbeliever who has apostatized from Islam, even if he prays, fasts, supplicates, performs Hajj, and performs 'Umrah. That will not benefit him. Allah the Exalted said:
And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed. وَقَدِمْنَا إِلَى مَا عَمِلُوا مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ هَبَاءً مَنْثُوراً
[Al-Furqan 25:23]
.
The Rafidah are multiple sects, but whoever holds the view I described to you, namely that he believes there is a manager of the universe among the Imams other than the Lord of the universe, is a disbeliever, and there is no doubt about his disbelief. Yes.
