Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And this says: O Nayef, what is the ruling on treating illness with the blood of certain birds, specifically what is called the crane, where it is caught, then slaughtered quickly, and its blood is given to the sick child? First: It is not permissible for a person to treat himself with blood by drinking it, because Allah has forbidden it in His Book [Al-Ma'idah 5:3]. As for applying it externally on the skin, if it is established that it is beneficial, then there is no harm in it, but he must wash it off before prayer. If it is not established that it is beneficial, then it is not permissible.
