Is it permissible to use certain terms such as "the upper light"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The question, may Allah preserve you: Some people, some modern writers, say things like "the justice of the sky" or "the guidance of the sky" or "the upper light." Also, they describe the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a genius and a world leader. Is it correct to use these terms in a general sense?

The Shaykh : Yes, when they say "the light of the sky" and "the guidance of the sky," they mean the light of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) because it is in the sky. However, it is better for them to refrain from these words and say "the light of Allah" and "the guidance of Allah," as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
the One Who is in the heaven is displeased with her إلا كان الذي في السماء ساخطًا عليها
Sahih Muslim 1436c
So using such expressions means that a person should pause and consider, and it is said that it is better to attribute the thing to the one who truly owns it, because the sky, in itself, has no guidance and no light; rather, it is the light of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and the guidance of Allah.
As for describing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a genius, if the person means that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) possessed knowledge regarding the affairs of life, such as courage, generosity, and the like, then there is no harm. But if he means that he is a genius, but he did not attain this status except by his genius, not by being the Messenger of Allah, then this is not permissible. The Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, without doubt, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) is the most courageous of people, the most generous of people, the most bountiful of people, and the best of people in character. Yes, that is right.
