It has been established with us a rule, which is: what is forbidden to be earned is forbidden for the earner and no one else. What is the evidence for this rule?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : This is Khalid Adib: It has been established with us a rule, which is: "What is forbidden to be earned is forbidden for the earner and no one else". What is the evidence for this rule?
The evidence for this rule is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to eat from the food of the Jews as a gift or an invitation, even though the Jews used to consume riba (usury or interest) and unlawful earnings, and he did not ask them whether this was from their riba or not.
This indicates that what is forbidden to be earned is forbidden only for the earner.
