Eating from forbidden earnings

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 12978 )
Q: I have a relative, my sister’s husband, who works in a liquor company as a truck driver distributing the liquor. I am asking: Is it permissible for me to visit my sister and eat at her house, and is it permissible for me to take money from him as a loan or otherwise, given that he owns a building he built with this income?
A: Visiting the sister is permissible as maintaining family ties. As for eating, if the sister’s husband has no source of income other than this salary, do not eat at the sister’s house; because it is forbidden earnings. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
