What is the ruling on citing the Qur'an regarding daily events?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, regarding using the Qur'an as an analogy.

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : Using the Qur'an as an analogy.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : For example: someone says:
But they plan, and Allah plans وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ اللَّهُ
[Al-Anfal 8:30]
if a man sees an analogy and he is deceived by it, or something like that.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Or he says:
[think to] deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ
[An-Nisa 4:142]
.

The Shaykh : If it is correct that the verse applies to this meaning, then there is no harm, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cited the Qur'an when al-Hasan and al-Husayn came out stumbling in their garments, then he descended from the pulpit, took them, and placed them in front of him, then he said: صدق الله: إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ Truthful is Allah: "Indeed, your wealth and your children are a trial.".
But the important thing is that it applies. As for saying to a man:
[think to] deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ
[An-Nisa 4:142]
and he is a believer, this is not permissible, because this verse is about the hypocrites. Yes.

The questioner : Regarding, O honorable Shaykh, the sitting of rest. The sitting of rest, the takbir of transition from the sitting of rest, is there a takbir for transitioning from the sitting of rest to standing, or is there only one takbir, which is the takbir of standing from prostration to...

The Shaykh : First: we ask about the sitting of rest, is it prescribed or not prescribed? Before we ask about the takbir for it. The sitting of rest, what appears from the texts and the evidence agrees that it is prescribed for the one who is unable to rise from prostration to standing. And as for if he is able and active, it is better that he does not sit.
