Is it permissible to pause at the words of Allah the Exalted: "That is your Lord, there is no deity except Him," and then resume the recitation with: "He is the Creator of all things, so worship Him"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I prayed behind one of the imams, and I think he was one of the Egyptian brothers, and he recited the words of Allah the Exalted:
That is your Lord, there is no deity except Him
Then he paused and resumed:
the Creator of all things, so worship Him
[Al-An'am 6:102]
So something of this occurred to me, and I thought that "He" was connected to the previous verse. I told him that the word "He" in the verse is connected to the verse before it, because it is an affirmation of the negation. He said:
There is no deity except Him
and it is not connected to the one after it. He insisted on his statement and said: These are readings from the recitation of Imam al-Husayri. What is the definitive ruling on this?

The Shaykh : The definitive ruling is that the readings do not come about simply because a person defends himself, even if he does so with falsehood. Al-Husayri and others like him cannot add anything to the Qur'an. According to his statement, the verse would be:
That is your Lord, there is no deity except Him
the Creator of all things
[Al-An'am 6:102]
Thus "He" would be repeated twice, and this is a great error. However, what appears to me is that this is an ignorant man, and that the reciter who heard him, when he reached the words of Allah the Exalted:
There is no deity except Him
ran out of breath, then he repeated and said:
the Creator of all things
[Al-An'am 6:102]
This is an error. Even if one runs out of breath, what a person should do when he runs out of breath is to start from where he paused. As for what some people do now, when they run out of breath, they go back to read the last sentence and then continue. It is said: The last sentence may also be connected to what came before it, so read what came before it. Then the one before that is connected to the one before that, and at that point he is required to repeat the verse from the beginning.
Therefore, we see that if a person runs out of breath, he has run out of breath out of necessity, so he should start from where he stopped, and there is no need to repeat the sentence before it.
The important point is that the verse does not have "He" twice, but only once, and it is the "He" that occurred after "except," as I said, an affirmation that Allah the Exalted is the sole Creator.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : There is no question; I took your question and it is finished.
