The ruling on one who believes that Allah is One and perceives Muslims as fierce, and therefore did not enter Islam, on the Day of Resurrection

The questioner : His EminenceThe Shaykh : A man hears about Islam while he is not a Muslim, and he knows that Islam calls to the oneness of Allah and that there is one God, but he sees from the appearance of Muslims that they are, this is what reaches him, that they are fierce and that they are fighters and that their Prophet is like this. This is what he hears, but he believes that there is one God. So what is the recompense of this person on the Day of Resurrection?
The Shaykh : This is a disbeliever. As long as he has not believed in the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), he is a disbeliever. It is obligatory for one who truly desires Islam, meaning a genuine desire, to look into the teachings of Islam and the directives of Islam, not at the Muslims, because the Muslims have various sins, until some of them have major shirk, which is calling upon other than Allah. This is in realization of the saying of Allah the Exalted: The hole of the addax is known to be crooked and not straight. Even if they entered this narrow, crooked hole that is not straight, you would have entered it. So it is obligatory for the person who truly wants to reach faith in Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to look at Islam itself, not at the Muslims.
As for the Muslims, as you see now, among them are lying, deception, unlawful sexual intercourse, sodomy, theft, riba, shirk, and aggression without right. One should not look at this. Then, these descriptions are also not general for all Muslims, but rather in some Muslim people. Perhaps this man does not encounter anyone but those who have adopted such morals, and the victorious, sound group is in another place that this man does not know about. And it is obligatory, as I said and I repeat, that the person looks only at the teachings of Islam, not at the Muslims.
