The hadith of the Bedouin who said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Is there anything obligatory upon me besides these?"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Your Eminence, it is mentioned in *the two Sahihs* in the hadith of Talhah regarding the Bedouin who said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Do I have to do anything else' He said: 'No, unless you do it voluntarily.
Sunan an-Nasa'i 458Sahih (Darussalam)
Can it be derived from this hadith that it serves as a refutation of the obligation of any prayers other than the five daily prayers?

The Shaykh : No, this hadith indicates that there are no prayers that are obligatory every day except for these five daily prayers. As for the prayers associated with specific causes, scholars differ on this. Some say: If these prayers associated with causes have indicators pointing to their obligation, then these indicators are refuted by the hadith of the Bedouin:
Is there anything obligatory upon me besides them?
Others say: For those that have a cause, one must look at the context of their evidence to see if it necessitates obligation or not. For example, the majority of scholars hold that the eclipse prayer is not obligatory, neither as an individual obligation nor as a collective obligation, and they cite the hadith of the Bedouin as evidence. Some scholars say: It is obligatory, or at least obligatory as a collective obligation. This is because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) would rush to gather the people behind a single imam in the Friday prayer area, and he would prolong this great prayer. Paradise and Hellfire were presented to him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded prayer, indeed he commanded rushing to prayer
Panic to the prayer
as if it were an enemy from which people need to flee. He informed that Allah frightens the servants. So what would one say if the moon were to wane or the sun were to be eclipsed, and the people were all in their buying, selling, and sleeping, while the Messenger says:
with which Allah terrifies His servants
Sahih Muslim 901f
Would they face this frightening sign with complete calm? Is this befitting of a servant? It is not befitting. Therefore, the most correct opinion of the scholars on this issue is that the eclipse prayer is obligatory, either as an individual obligation or as a collective obligation. Yes. I understood the answer. We say: The hadith indicates that there is no obligatory prayer that recurs every day and night except the five daily prayers, and Jumu'ah replaces the Zuhr prayer. Yes, it is cited as evidence that Witr is not obligatory, even though some scholars held that it is, because it is one of the regular prayers. As for what has a cause, it is according to the evidence regarding the prayer for that specific cause.

The questioner : Your Eminence, if Jumu'ah is held independently... for the traveler?

The Shaykh : The traveler does not pray Jumu'ah in the desert, he does not pray it. But if he is in a town where Jumu'ah is held, he must attend.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Even if it is held independently, is it not the case that Allah says:
O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah
[Al-Jumu'ah 62:9]
? We say to this traveler: Are you a believer? He will say: What?

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : He will say: Yes. We say: Go, run. Yes.
