How to respond to those who cite the hadith of Usamah as evidence that one who abandons prayer is not a disbeliever?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : How, O Shaykh, do we respond to this doubt? Some of the common people, when one of them dies while not praying, we refuse to pray over him, and they say, for example, "What will you say about the phrase 'La ilaha illa Allah' when the Day of Resurrection comes?" They say the man said: "La ilaha illa Allah..." They claim that Allah will bring out of the Fire whoever said "La ilaha illa Allah"?

The Shaykh : It is forbidden for the Fire to take anyone who said "La ilaha illa Allah" seeking thereby the Face of Allah. This condition means that he will never abandon prayer. No one who seeks the Face of Allah with "La ilaha illa Allah" can possibly leave off prayer.
