The reciter: 'Ubayd Allah ibn Ma'adh al-'Anbari narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from al-Hakam from Ibrahim from 'Iqamah from 'Abdullah:
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the midday prayer in five rak'ahs. When he finished the prayer, it was said to him: Did you add to the prayer? He said: What is that? They said: You prayed five rak'ahs. So he prostrated two prostrations. أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى الظهر خمسا فلما سلم قيل له : أزيد في الصلاة ؟ قال : وما ذاك قالوا صليت خمسا فسجد سجدتين
