The Book of the Prayer of the Traveler and Its Shortening-02a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Abu al-Kamil al-Juhdri narrated to me, saying: Hammad, meaning ibn Zayd, narrated to us from 'Abd al-Hamid, who said: I heard 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith say:
'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas delivered a sermon to us on the day of Dhi Radagh. He related the hadith with the same meaning as the hadith of Ibn 'Ulayyah, but he did not mention the Friday prayer. He said: "One better than me has done it," meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). خطبنا عبد الله بن عباس في يوم ذي ردغ وساق الحديث بمعنى حديث ابن علية ولم يذكر الجمعة وقال: قد فعله من هو خير مني يعني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلّم
And Abu al-Kamil said: Hammad narrated to us from 'Asim from 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith to the same effect.
