Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd al-Ghabari, Abu Kamil al-Juhdari, and Ahmad ibn 'Ubbadah narrated to us, saying: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us from Matar al-Warraq from 'Abdullah ibn Buraydah from Yahya ibn Ya'mar, who said: "When Ma'bad spoke about what he spoke regarding the matter of divine decree, we rejected it. He said: So I and Hamid ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Himiri performed the Hajj pilgrimage". They related the hadith with the meaning of the hadith of Kahmas and its chain of narration, with some addition and omission of letters.
