The reciter: Abdullah ibn Muslimah ibn Qa'nab and Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, saying: Malik narrated to us. And Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, saying: I read to Malik from Amir ibn Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr from Amr ibn Sulaym al-Zuqri from Abu Qatadah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When any one of you enters the mosque, he should observe two rak'ahs (of Nafl prayer) before sitting. إذا دخل أحدكم المسجد فليركع ركعتين قبل أن يجلس
