The reciter: Isma'il ibn Abi Uwais narrated to us, saying: My maternal uncle, Malik ibn Anas, narrated to me. The reciter: And Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, saying: I read to Malik, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Qasim, from his father, from 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her):
that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did hajj on its own. أنّ رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم أفرد الحجّ
