The reciter: Muhammad ibn 'Abbad and Ibn Abi 'Umar narrated to us, saying: Marwan ibn Mu'awiyah narrated to us from Yazid, who is Ibn Kaysan, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurayrah أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم قرأ في ركعتي الفجر قُل يا أَيُّهَا الكافِرونَ و قُل هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited in the two rak'ahs of Fajr: "Say, O you disbelievers" and "Say, He is Allah, One.".
