The reciter: And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and Zuhr ibn Harb narrated to us, both saying: Waki‘ narrated to us from Sufyan from Abu Husayn from Yahya ibn Wathab from Masruq from Aisha, who said:
the Messenger Of Allah (ﷺ) used to observe the Witr prayer every night, maybe in the early part of night, at midnight and in the latter part, finishing his Witr at dawn. من كل الليل قد أوتر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم، من أول الليل وأوسطه وءاخره فانتهى وتره إلى السحر
