Sometimes a woman wears her husband's shirt; is that permissible, or is it imitating men?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Sometimes a woman wears her husband's shirt if she is wearing her jilbab with half sleeves; is that permissible, or does that fall under imitating men?

The Shaykh : Yes, this falls under imitating men. It is not permissible for a woman to wear a man's garment, nor is it permissible for a man to wear a woman's garment, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:
The Prophet cursed the men who imitate women and the women who imitate men. لعن المتشبهين من الرجل بالنساء والمتشبهات من النساء بالرجال
.
As for what is shared between them, such as some shirts worn by both men and women, there is nothing wrong with it; that is, there is nothing wrong with men and women wearing them because they are shared.
