It is obligatory to turn from the ambiguous to the clear in the Qur'anic, Prophetic, and theoretical evidence.

The Shaykh : The last thing I will say about this hadith is that it is ambiguous, and it is obligatory to turn to the clear evidence from the Qur'an, the Prophetic traditions, and theoretical reasoning that indicates the obligation for a woman to cover her face. We have a small treatise on this matter; it is small in size but rich in meaning, and praise be to Allah. Whoever wishes to refer to it may do so.
