Explanation of the Book of Hajj-02a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, saying: Fudayl ibn Sulayman narrated to us, saying: Musa ibn 'Uqbah narrated to us, saying: Salim ibn 'Abdullah narrated to me from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
That he was seen in a camping ground at Dhu al-Hulayfah in the bottom of the valley. It was said to him, "You are in a blessed plain." Salim would make us dismount in the same place where 'Abdullah used to dismount, seeking the camping ground of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). It is lower than the mosque in the bottom of the valley, and between it and the road is the middle of that area.

The Shaykh : All of this requires knowing these places and standing upon them.
