The Reciter: Chapter: The Virtue of the Sacred Precinct, and His saying, the Exalted: [An-Naml 27:91], and His saying, Glorious is His mention: [Al-Qasas 28:57]
The Shaykh : His saying, the Exalted:[Ar-Ra'd 13:36] Yes, [An-Naml 27:91] meaning He made it a secure sanctuary. [An-Naml 27:91] This phrase is among the most beautiful things, for when He said: one might understand that Allah’s dominion is limited to it, so He said: [An-Naml 27:91] and this is called caution in rhetoric. [Yunus 10:72] And His saying, Glorious is His mention: [Al-Qasas 28:57] , : meaning We prepare for them, in a manner of empowerment, a secure sanctuary, which is what lies within the known boundaries of the Haram. meaning fruits of every kind are brought to it. [Al-Qasas 28:57] This is an explanation of the favor of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, upon the Quraysh with this secure sanctuary, such that a man in the pre-Islamic age of ignorance, if he found the killer of his father in the Haram, would not kill him out of the respect they held for it.
[Say, O Muhammad], "I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [those who submit to Allah]
إنما أمرت أن أعبد رب هذه البلدة الذي حرمها وله كل شيء وأمرت أن أكون من المسلمينHave we not established for them a safe sanctuary to which are brought the fruits of all things as provision from Us? But most of them do not know.
