Explanation of the Book of Hajj-07a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Musaddad narrated to us, Khalid ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Isma'il ibn Abi Khalid narrated to us from Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa, who said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed 'Umrah, so he circumambulated the House and prayed two rak'ahs behind the Maqam, and there was with him someone to shield him from the people. A man said to him, "Let the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) enter the Ka'bah." He said, "No." إعتمر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فطاف بالبيت وصلى خلف المقام ركعتين ومعه من يستره من الناس فقال له رجل أدخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الكعبة قال لا

The Shaykh : His statement:
he was accompanied by so many people that he was hidden by them ومعه من يستره من الناس
Sunan Abi Dawud 1902
means that he was shielded from the people so that they would not crowd around him and disturb his prayer. It is not possible to say that this is evidence for those people who restrict those who pray behind the Maqam from their congregation, because the difference is clear. What were the people crowding around in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? They were crowding around the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). In our present time, people crowd around the tawaf, meaning the area of tawaf is full, so it is not permissible for anyone to obstruct the people and remain a barrier to his companion. Yes.
