Explanation of the Book of Hajj-08a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Al-Hasan ibn 'Umar al-Basri narrated to us, and Yazid ibn Zura' narrated to us from Habib, from 'Ata, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her):
Some people circumambulated the House after the Fajr prayer, then they sat with the reciter until the sun rose, at which point they stood up to pray. 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "They sat until it was the hour in which prayer is disliked, and then they stood up to pray."

The Shaykh : It appears that she disapproved of them and held that they should have prayed before that time. This is the correct view: whenever the cause for a voluntary prayer is present at any time, one should pray it, because it is tied to a cause. There is a possibility that a person prostrated to the sun, which is a grave matter, despite the apparent presence of the cause. For this reason, the stronger position in this issue is that there is no prohibition regarding all prayers tied to a cause at any time the cause is present; one should pray. Yes.
