In the sitting for the tashahhud, where does the one who is praying place his two hands: on his two thighs or on his two knees?

The questioner : In the sitting for the tashahhud, where does he place his two hands: on the two thighs or on the two knees?

The Shaykh : The matter is broad in this, if Allah wills. He may place them on his two thighs, or he may place them on his two knees, because the Sunnah has come regarding both of these.
