The reciter: Musaddad narrated to us from Yahya from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Abdullah, the freed slave of Asma, narrated to me that Asma said:
She stayed the night of Jumu'ah at Muzdalifah, then she stood to pray and prayed for a while. Then she said: "O my son, has the moon set?" I said: "No." She prayed for a while, then she said: "Has the moon set?" I said: "Yes." She said: "Then set out." So we set out and proceeded until she stoned the pillar. Then she returned and prayed the Fajr prayer at her lodging. I said to her: "O my dear, it seems to us that it has already become dark." She said: "O my son, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted the women to set out." أنها نزلت ليلة جمع عند المزدلفة فقامت تصلي فصلت ساعةً ثم قالت : يا بني هل غاب القمر قلت : لا فصلت ساعةً ثم قالت : هل غاب القمر قلت : نعم ، قالت : فارتحلوا فارتحلنا ومضينا حتى رمت الجمرة ثم رجعت فصلت الصبح في منزلها فقلت لها : يا هنتاه ما أرانا إلا قد غلسنا قالت : يا بني إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أذن للظعن
