The reciter: And Muhammad ibn Yusuf said: From Sufyan, from Mansur ibn Safiyyah: My mother told me, from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), who said:
When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) died, we had been satisfied by the two black things, i.e., dates and water. توفي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد شبعنا من الأسودين : التمر والماء
Sahih al-Bukhari 5442

The Shaykh : His saying, the Exalted:
And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates. وهزي إليك بجذع النخلة تساقط عليك رطبا جنيا
[Maryam 19:25]
They said that the verb contains a meaning that is transitive with "ila" (to), meaning "shake and bring to you," so that the shaking is from her side. And his saying:
will fall upon you تساقط عليك
means that with just the shaking, the fresh dates fall down, and yet they do not burst; they are fresh dates as if picked easily. The custom is that when fresh dates fall from the palm tree, they burst and tear apart.
