Is it permissible to take a fee for the service of a male camel?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah benefit you and your knowledge, O honorable Shaykh: There is a man who has a male camel, and people come to him to have him mate their she-camels so that he can take a fee for this. What is the ruling?

The Shaykh : The ruling is that it is not permissible, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
He prohibited the sale of the service of a male camel نهى عن بيع عسب الفحل
meaning: if he mates the camel, what he acquires is forbidden. Do you understand? And it is astonishing about this man, how does he envy his brothers something that does not harm his camel, but rather benefits the camel? For the camel, just as a human takes pleasure in this, he also takes pleasure in it. So let the camel have his freedom. And one of the most dangerous things is to prevent the camel from the she-camel when he desires her, for he will hold a grudge against you, and after a while he will take revenge on you. The important point is that the service of the camel, or the goat, or the sheep, or the bull, all of it is not permissible to sell. Either you give it for free, or you prevent it if it harms the male animal. Yes, Yasar.
