Benefits of the Hadith: (No one is wounded in the cause of Allah but that he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound still bleeding...)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As for the first hadith, it contains the fact that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) clarified that the one who is wounded in the cause of Allah, meaning injured, and in a narration in al-Bukhari:
and Allah knows better about who has been injured in His cause والله أعلم بمن يُكلم في سبيله
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1656Sahih (Darussalam)
The author cited this hadith in another place under the heading: "Chapter: It is not said that so-and-so is a martyr," and he brought this hadith, which is his saying:
and Allah knows better about who has been injured in His cause والله أعلم بمن يكلم في سبيله
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1656Sahih (Darussalam)
Because not everyone who is killed in the ranks of jihad is called a martyr, meaning like one who was among the mujahideen and then was killed; we say he is a martyr because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) entrusted knowledge to whom? To Allah. He said:
and Allah knows better about who has been injured in His cause والله أعلم بمن يكلم في سبيله
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1656Sahih (Darussalam)
And he (may Allah have mercy on him) spoke the truth. But now, in the present era, martyrdom has become cheaper than a quarter of a halalah; any person who is killed, whether rightfully or wrongfully, is called a martyr. This is forbidden. Do you know that the implication of a person saying "so-and-so is a martyr" is that he testifies for him to Paradise? That is its implication. And is it permissible for you to testify for anyone to Paradise? It is not permissible except for those for whom the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) testified. So you may say, "It is hoped that this person is a martyr," because whoever is killed in the cause of Allah is a martyr. But to be certain that he specifically is a martyr, this is forbidden and not permissible except for those for whom the Messenger testified. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) testified for several of the Companions that they were martyrs, and they were indeed martyred. Good.
