The reciter: 'Abdan narrated to us, 'Abdullah informed us, from Yunus, from al-Zuhri, regarding an animal that dies in oil or fat, whether it is solid or not, a mouse or otherwise. He said:

It reached us that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that a mouse that died in fat be removed, along with what was near it, and then he ate.

بلغنا أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أمر بفأرة ماتت في سمن فأمر بما قرب منها فطرح ثم أكل
