A man whose sisters agreed to relinquish their inheritance rights to him after their father's death, but he refused and gave them a sum of money in exchange; is this permissible?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I am a man with a group of sisters, and my father passed away, leaving us a piece of land. I wanted to give my sisters their share of this land, but they all refused and said, "We forgive you for this and do not want anything." However, I compelled them to accept a sum of money in exchange for this forgiveness, and we agreed on this basis. What is your opinion on this, O honorable Shaykh?

The Shaykh : The land your father left is your property, and you may dispose of it as you wish. If this man's sisters relinquish their share of this land, the matter is up to them, and their relinquishment is valid. If their brother accepts that, the matter is clear. If he does not accept it except in exchange, the matter is up to him; if he wishes not to accept it except in exchange, he has that right. If he accepts it without exchange and acknowledges their kindness and thanks them for it, that is sufficient.
What I see is that one should look at the situation. If he is wealthy and has ample means, and his sisters have some need, it is better that he not accept it except in exchange and convince them of that. If his sisters are not in need, or if he is not clearly wealthy, it is better that he accept it without exchange.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh.
