I saw us going on expedition, and we had no food except the leaves of the hablah tree and this samr tree. And one of us would pass excrement as a sheep passes excrement, with no mixture in it. Then the Banu Asad began to mock me regarding Islam. May I perish, and may my effort be in vain."
