Explanation of the Book of the Hearts-03b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Qutaybah narrated to us from Malik from Hisham ibn 'Urwah from his father from 'A'ishah that she said: "The most beloved deed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was the one that was done consistently."

The Shaykh : His saying (peace and blessings be upon him), his saying:
The acts most pleasing to Allah أحب العمل إلى الله
Sunan Abi Dawud 1368Sahih (Al-Albani)
means of that type, otherwise it is well known that if a person were to persist in voluntary prayer, it would not become more beloved to Allah than the obligatory prayer, as came in the Qudsi Hadith: that Allah said:
And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him ما تقرب إلي عبدي بشيء أحب علي مما افترضته عليه
Sahih al-Bukhari 6502
But he means the deed of this type, for example, a man who prays the Duha prayer and then leaves it, and another who prays it and persists in it, by virtue of the texts, he says the second is more beloved to Allah. A person who persists in the Zuhr prayer and another who does not persist, we say the first is more beloved to Allah. Yes, that is correct.
