The reciter: Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Maqdami narrated to us: Umar ibn Ali narrated to us: He heard Abu Hazim from Sahl ibn Sa'd from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: Sahih al-Bukhari 6474
The Shaykh : The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is addressing the believers here. If a believer guarantees what is between his two jaws and what is between his two legs, the Messenger guarantees Paradise for him. The guarantor here is wealthy, but he guarantees as an agent for a wealthy one. For whom? For Allah. As for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), he can never give Paradise, but he guarantees with what Allah revealed to him. So he is like a messenger from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), guaranteeing for whoever guards what is between his two jaws, which is the tongue, and what is between his two legs, which is the private parts. If he does so, Paradise is guaranteed for him. In this is an encouragement to guard the tongue.
Whoever can guarantee (the chastity of) what is between his two jaw-bones and what is between his two legs (i.e. his tongue and his private parts), I guarantee Paradise for him.
