The Shaykh : As for if the construction of this mosque is new, then it is not permissible for the Endowments to give a salary for it while its construction is not completed, and it is not permissible for the recipient to accept this salary because he took it without right. This is if the mosque is new, meaning it was recently established.
As for if the mosque that was renovated was old and was demolished, and this muezzin was continuing in it, then there is no blame on him for taking the salary in the months when the mosque was not built, because he had dedicated himself for the benefit of this mosque.
