The reciter: Yahya ibn Bukayr narrated to us, al-Layth narrated to us from 'Aqil from Ibn Shihab from Abu Salama and Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: Sahih al-Bukhari 6815, 6816.
Ibn Shihab said: The one who heard Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah told me, and he said:.
The Shaykh : This is Ma'iz (may Allah be pleased with him). He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in the mosque and called out to him, and calling out is done with a loud voice. He said that he had committed unlawful sexual intercourse.
A man came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) while he was in the mosque, and he called him, saying, "O Allah's Apostle! I have committed illegal sexual intercourse.'" The Prophet (ﷺ) turned his face to the other side, but that man repeated his statement four times, and after he bore witness against himself four times, the Prophet (ﷺ) called him, saying, "Are you mad?" The man said, "No." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Are you married?" The man said, "Yes." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Take him away and stone him to death.
أتى رجل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو في المسجد، فناداه فقال : يا رسول الله، إني زنيت، فأعرض عنه حتى ردد عليه أربع مرات، فلما شهد على نفسه أربع شهادات، دعاه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال : أبك جنون ؟ قال : لا، قال : فهل أحصنت ؟ قال : نعم، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : اذهبوا به فارجموهIbn Shihab said: The one who heard Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah told me, and he said:
