Explanation of the Book of Inheritance, Fixed Punishments, and Blood Money-10b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Ali narrated to us, and Ishaq ibn Sa'id ibn 'Amr ibn Sa'id ibn al-'As narrated to us from his father, from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A faithful believer remains at liberty regarding his religion unless he kills somebody unlawfully. لن يزال المؤمن في فسحة من دينه ، ما لم يصب دما حراما
Sahih al-Bukhari 6862

The Shaykh : This is a severe warning that a person is in ease in his religion, meaning that Allah preserves it for him and preserves him in it, as long as he does not touch forbidden blood. If he touches forbidden blood, he is in a state of great danger. And in this way, some of the difficulty in the saying of the Exalted is resolved:
But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment. ومن يقتل مؤمنا متعمدا فجزاؤه جهنم خالدا فيها وغضب الله عليه ولعنه وأعده له عذابا عظيما
[An-Nisa 4:93]
For this one who intentionally killed a believer is to be feared of having his faith completely stripped away, and then this will be his recompense. Yes.
