In His saying, the Exalted, narrating the words of the neighbors of Dhul-Qarnayn: “Indeed, Ya’juj and Ma’juj are corrupters in the land,” is it derived from the verse that they have emerged?

The questioner : ... the multitude of trials ... .

The Shaykh : The connection is clear. What did their neighbors say to Dhul-Qarnayn:
indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land إن يأجوج و مأجوج مفسدون في الأرض
[Al-Kahf 18:94]
.

The questioner : They did not emerge from it.

The Shaykh : Now, as for Ya’juj and Ma’juj who are among the signs of the Hour, they have not emerged yet. As for the corrupting Ya’juj and Ma’juj, they emerged a long time ago.
