The discussion of Ya'juj and Ma'juj.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : This long hadith concludes with the Dajjal, in which 'Isa (peace be upon him) kills him at Bab al-Ludd in Palestine, so that people are safe from his evil. Then Allah (Mighty and Majestic) sends forth Ya'juj and Ma'juj, and they come pouring out from every high place. "Pouring out" means they come swiftly, which indicates their great number and that they will fill the earth. For this reason, 'Isa ibn Maryam and the believers with him will be confined to the mountain of Bayt al-Maqdis, until the head of an ox becomes so expensive that it costs more than one hundred dinars for one of you today. This is how the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said it. One hundred dinars means one hundred pounds of gold, because a dinar is equal to a mithqal of gold. So we said that the dinar is one hundred mithqals of gold. This indicates the severity of the situation for 'Isa and the believers with him, until they turn to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) asking Him to save them from these people, Ya'juj and Ma'juj. So Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) sends a pestilence into their necks. This pestilence is a worm that eats the brain, and they all die, as if it were the death of a single soul. Then 'Isa and those with him descend from the mountain to the earth, and they find no space of a span's width that is not filled with their stench, their foul smell. So 'Isa (peace be upon him) and the believers with him turn to Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and Allah (the Exalted) sends birds with necks like those of camels, which carry them away and place them wherever Allah (Mighty and Majestic) wills. It is mentioned that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) sends a great, abundant rain to wash the earth of their traces. The hadith is long, and it seems that the brother with the questions is indicating that we should limit ourselves to what has occurred in order to answer the questions. Here, we are asked about a person who may have lost something, and his name is 'Adil ibn Musafir al-Du'asiri. ... In any case, this brother whose name we mentioned should contact the presenter of the questions if he has a need regarding him.
