The reciter: Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, saying: Shu'ayb informed us, from al-Zuhri. And Isma'il narrated to us, saying: My brother informed me, from Sulayman ibn Bilal, from Muhammad ibn Abi 'Utaiq, from Ibn Shihab, from Hind bint al-Harith al-Farasiyyah, that Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), said: Sahih al-Bukhari 7069.
The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) awoke in a state of alarm upon seeing what had been opened of the treasuries and what had been sent down of trials. The treasuries are the treasuries of this world and the abundance of wealth, and the trials are well known, including killing, fear, and other things that test people regarding their religion and prevent them from their religion. In this is an indication that the abundance of wealth can be a cause of trials, because people compete for it. This is supported by what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us of, that:Sunan Ibn Majah 4046Da’if (Darussalam) Then he said: Sahih al-Bukhari 1126 meaning his wives, waking them for prayer, for the night prayer, for this is what helps a person to be safe from trials and evils. And his saying: Sahih al-Bukhari 115 The intended meaning is not the garment of the body, because regarding the garment of the body in the Hereafter, all people are naked; they are gathered on the Day of Resurrection barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised, and then they are clothed after that. The result is that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) warned against these trials and indicated or pointed out that one of the causes of protection from trials is the night prayer.
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) woke up one night in a state of terror and said, "Subhan Allah, How many treasures Allah has sent down! And how many afflictions have been sent down! Who will go and wake the lady dwellers (wives of the Prophet) up of these rooms (for prayers)?" He meant his wives, so that they might pray. He added, "A well-dressed (soul) in this world may be naked in the Hereafter."
The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest.
