The reciter: Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn 'Iyash narrated to us, Abu Husayn narrated to us, Abu Maryam Abdullah ibn Ziyad al-Asadi said: .
The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest. It is a great trial. We ask Allah for safety.
When Talhah, al-Zubayr, and A'ishah marched to Basrah, Ali sent 'Ammar ibn Yasir and al-Hasan ibn Ali. They arrived in Kufah and ascended the pulpit. Al-Hasan ibn Ali was at the top of the pulpit, and 'Ammar stood below al-Hasan. We gathered around him, and I heard 'Ammar say: "A'ishah has marched to Basrah, and by Allah, she is the wife of your Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this world and the Hereafter. But Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) has tested you to see whom you obey, her or Him."
لما سار طلحة والزبير وعائشة إلى البصرة بعث علي عمار بن ياسر وحسن بن علي فقدما علينا الكوفة فصعدا المنبر فكان الحسن بن علي فوق المنبر في أعلاه وقام عمار أسفل من الحسن فاجتمعنا إليه فسمعت عمارًا يقول : إن عائشة قد سارت إلى البصرة والله إنها لزوجة نبيكم صلى الله عليه وسلم في الدنيا والآخرة ولكن الله تبارك وتعالى ابتلاكم ليعلم إياه تطيعون أم هيThe Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest.
